40-year-old motorcyclist dies after collision in Niagara Region, say police

On Tuesday at 2:25 p.m., police said they responded to a crash in the area of Victoria Avenue North and Canboro Road in Pelham, located in central Niagara.

A 40-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision with a delivery truck in the Town of Pelham, say Niagara police. 

On Tuesday at 2:25 p.m., police said they responded to a crash in the area of Victoria Avenue North and Canboro Road in Pelham, located in central Niagara.

The man driving the motorcycle was transported to hospital where he died, said police. He was a Pelham resident. 

The Niagara police reconstruction unit has taken over the investigation with help from the forensic team. 

The investigation remains ongoing and police are asking anyone in the area at the time of the collision with dashcam footage, to review any recordings.

Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with police or Crime Stoppers.

This is the fourth fatal collision in the Hamilton and Niagara area in a week. 

A 20-year-old motorcyclist died after a collision on Highway 403 in Hamilton on Monday. 

10-year-old child died in a three-vehicle crash on Trinity Church Road in the south area of Hamilton on Sunday. 

And a 47-year-old man was hit by a transport truck on Friday after he stepped out of his car on the side of the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.
