1 person dead, 4 in hospital after single-vehicle crash on Highway 40 in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Que.
19-year-old man from Drummondville declared dead in hospital

A 19-year-old man from Drummondville, Que., is dead after the vehicle he was in crashed into the central median on Highway 40 in Vaudreuil-Dorion, just west of Montreal, early Wednesday morning.
The incident happened around 5 a.m., on the westbound lane of Highway 40 at the height of kilometre 33, according to provincial police.
All five people inside the vehicle were transported to hospital where the 19-year-old man was later declared dead.
Police would not specify the age and gender of the remaining four people. It also couldn't confirm if the 19-year-old was a driver or passenger at the time of the crash.
According to police, the driver lost control of the vehicle before it crashed. Traffic collision experts were at the scene and an investigation is underway.
