Quebec man, 52, dies after fatal crash near Madawaska Maliseet First Nation

A 52-year-old man from Saint-Camille-de-Bellechasse, Que., died after a single-vehicle crash near Madawaska Maliseet First Nation on Friday afternoon.

RCMP responded to a single-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon

A 52-year-old man from Saint-Camille-de-Bellechasse, Que., died Friday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 2 near Madawaska Maliseet First Nation.

According to an RCMP release, the vehicle travelling westbound lost control and struck a guardrail, a road sign and then went into a ditch.

Police say the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the crash scene.

An investigation is underway, according to police.
