3 charged after N.W.T. RCMP seize $5K in cash and suspected drugs on Kátł'odeeche First Nation

N.W.T. RCMP say they have charged three people with trafficking drugs on Kátł'odeeche First Nation.
In a news release Thursday, police said they were called to the reserve just before midnight Tuesday night after receiving a complaint of people being unlawfully in a residence.
They seized $5,000 in cash, about 43 grams of suspected fentanyl and about 41 grams of suspected crack cocaine.
All three people — one from Ontario, one from Hay River and one from the First Nation, are facing charges of possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possessing property obtained by crime over $5,000.
