A 17-year-old has died after a motorcycle crash in Greenville, N.S., on Saturday.

RCMP say they were called to the intersection of Hardscratch Road and Greenville Road outside Yarmouth at 12:03 p.m. AT.

Police say the motorcycle struck a pickup truck that was towing a boat.

The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old male from Yarmouth County, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital on a LifeFlight. He later died of his injuries.

RCMP say their investigation into the crash continues.
