44-year-old man dead after Lunenburg County crash

In a news release issued Saturday, RCMP said the man was the driver of a van that left the road on Highway 208 in Pleasant River, N.S., and ended up in a ditch. He was the only person in the vehicle.

A 44-year-old man from the Halifax Regional Municipality is dead after a Friday afternoon crash in Lunenburg County.

In a news release issued Saturday, RCMP said the man was the driver of a van that left the road on Highway 208 in Pleasant River, N.S., and ended up in a ditch. He was the only person in the vehicle.

RCMP said the crash happened on the 4200 block of the road.

The highway was closed for several hours, but has since reopened.
