A cyclist in his 80s has died of his injuries after being struck by a vehicle in south Ottawa last week, police said Sunday.

A cyclist in his 80s has died of his injuries after being struck by a vehicle near South Keys Shopping Centre in Ottawa last week, police said Sunday.
Ottawa police said the cyclist was struck around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday at the corner of Bank Street and Dazé Street, just north of Hunt Club Road.
The man was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries Sunday morning, according to police.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed or has dashcam footage of the collision to contact the fatal collision investigation unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.
