2 people arrested, 1 charged with 1st-degree murder, after death of 22-year-old in Regina

Two people have been arrested in Edmonton and charged in connection with the death of Wahkia Ewalk, 22, in Regina last week.

Two people have been arrested in Edmonton and charged in connection with the death of a 22-year-old man in Regina last week.

In the early hours of May 30, officers called to Marshall Crescent after a report of gunshots found Wahkia Ewalk, 22, dead, the Regina Police Service previously said.

On Wednesday, Angus Fox, 32, and Herb Fox, 34, were arrested in Edmonton, a Thursday update from Regina police said.

Angus Fox has been charged with first-degree murder. Herb Fox is facing a charge of accessory after the fact to murder.

Both are currently being transported to Regina and a court date will be determined upon their return, Regina police said.

Ewalk's death was the fourth homicide reported in Regina in 2025.
