Leamington motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries in Chatham-Kent crash

Police say a man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle collision in Chatham-Kent this past weekend.
It happened on Saturday at approximately 5:35 p.m., according to a news release from the Chatham-Kent Police Service.
Police were called to a single-vehicle collision on River Line between Communication Road and Harwich Road.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 38-year-old man from Leamington, was taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and was then transferred to Windsor Regional Hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police called in the traffic management unit to continue the investigation, and the road remained closed for several hours.
