Windsor driver with G2 licence clocked going 74 km/h over speed limit in Lakeshore: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a 21-year-old from Windsor was clocked going more than twice the speed limit on a county road in Lakeshore.

According to police, the driver was doing 134 km/h in posted 60 km/h zone along Lakeshore Road 113 on Monday when a radar gun recorded it.

The driver had their G2 licence which is probationary and carries certain restrictions.

Their licence has been suspended for 30 days and faces stunt driving-related charges.

Last week, OPP said a Windsor teenager was clocked going 100 km/h over the speed limit in Tecumseh.
