Windsor police say 2 suspects sought in death of senior

A 69-year-old man who investigators now say was killed has been identified, and Windsor police are searching for two suspects.

A 69-year-old man found dead last week, who investigators now say was killed, has been identified.

Windsor police are searching for two suspects. 

According to police, officers responded to a Highland Avenue home early Friday morning and discovered a man dead inside the home. 

Police have now identified the man as 69-year-old Reginald John Frickey and say he died of a head injury. 

Surveillance footage shows two suspects in the area in the early morning of Friday, police say.  They were seen in the 2300 block of Mercer Street, the 400 block of Lens Avenue and the 2400 block of Highland Avenue. 

Police say the first man is described as a white man with a stocky build, wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt, black pants and dark shoes. 

The second is described as a white man wearing  a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, a black backpack and black running shoes with white soles. 

Police are asking those who live in the area to check their dash or surveillance cameras between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Friday for evidence.
