Windsor teen clocked driving 100 km/h over speed limit on Highway 3, OPP say

Police say there were also more passengers in the car than there were seatbelts.

Ontario Provincial Police say an officer clocked a Windsor teenager driving 180 km/h in an 80 km/h posted speed zone in Tecumseh.

They say it happened on Highway 3 near Malden Road around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say there were more passengers in the car than there were seatbelts, and that the driver didn't have all of the necessary driving paperwork.

The 17-year-old from Windsor faces a handful of charges and had their licence suspended and vehicle impounded.
