36-year-old Riverview man dead after car-motorcycle collision

A 36-year old Riverview man died in a motorcycle accident early Sunday. Richibucto RCMP say they responded to a two-vehicle collision on Route 11 just after 3 a.m.

A 36-year old Riverview, N.B., man died in a car-motorcycle collision early Sunday.

Richibucto RCMP say they responded to Route 11 just after 3 a.m. The crash occurred between the exits to Saint-Louis-de-Kent and Saint-Charles, according to a media release.

Police say the man died after his motorcycle was struck by a car travelling in the same direction. The driver of the car sustained non-life-threatening injuries, the release says.

Route 11 has reopened to traffic.

An investigation into the crash is underway, police say.
